Especially if you're struggling with astral projection! He's giving away the first 7 chapters of his book free. To find out more Click Here. Anyway, Robert Monroe coined the term “phasing” and it has been expounded upon by Frank Kepple. Most people believe that when we project, we are actually separating from our bodies. Frank's theory is that we are in the astral right now, and every other dimension at the same time, but we are primarily focused in the physical. He believes we just need to "tune in" or focus our consciousness into the astral. He expounds on his theories and beliefs a whole lot more. To read more about Frank Kepple’s theories click here.
Phasing is a great technique to use to astral project. I use it all the time. I find it much easier than the standard methods, like the rope technique or trying to imagine floating out of your body. With phasing, you bypass all of the "normal" symptoms, like the vibrational state. The only problem I've found with phasing is when I'm somewhat tired, I tend to fall asleep.
Most people are too wrapped up in a certain technique that they don't notice the subtle changes that are happening to their perception. The basic gist of the technique is to close your eyes and notice what's happening to your body. "Look out" into the darkness and just notice what you see. At first you will only see blackness, but eventually you might see a blue spark here, a white flash there. The blackness may not look so black in some places, etc. The point is to notice what's going on in your perception. Eventually you will see flashes of scenes. They will only last for an instant. Then you will lose perception of your body and the scenes you are seeing will be there for a period of time, and you can enter these scenes at will. You just will yourself into a scene and you’re in the astral. This is phasing.
Now I’m going to share with you my personal technique I use to phase. I get on my comfortable shorts or sweat pants and sit in my recliner. I use my recliner because I tend to fall asleep when I try phasing lying down. Next I do conscious relaxation for about 5 minutes. Then I sit there and notice. I look into the blackness and notice things. You may start to unconsciously have a dream. Sometimes my subconscious mind takes over and I simply fall asleep. This happened to me the first few times I tried phasing, but eventually I got the hang of it, and you will too!
Well now you know how to phase. So what are you still doing here? Go grab your pj’s and have your first astral experience! It truly is amazing. And if you haven't yet picked up a copy of Our Ultimate Reality, what are you waiting for? This book will definitely help you out and give you some new perspectives on life. I wish I had found this when I was just starting out!

Easy Astral Projection Techniques
Hey Guys! FreeSpirit here with a great tip to help you finally astral project!
I made this blog to help others out there who are stuggling to project. I was in your shoes! I tried almost every night for over two years without any success. During those two years I had about 4 lucid dreams. That's it! Well i finally figured out the "secret" if you will for astral projection. And I'm about to share it with you!
Ok Here's a great tip many of you have probably heard about but have overlooked. Keep a dream journal! You probably have had a few Astal projections, but you don't remember them! When I first started trying to astral projected I didnt want to take the time to write down my dreams, and for two years I didn't project! But once I started keeping a journal, I saw a tremendous improvement of my dream recall. And to top it off I had my first astral experience within a month. Trust me, an astral experience is like no other! It only takes between 5-15 minutes to write your dreams down. I don't even worry about the grammar! I just write them down in my journal and im done! I also use some dream journal software which It is so worth the 5-15 minutes in the morning! Just do it. You wont regret it!
If you are serious about astral projection WRITE YOUR DREAMS DOWN! You will be happy you did. One thing I like to do is read my dream journal every so often. You will be amazed how much of the dream you forget in 3 weeks time! Well keep up the practice, and I hope to see you in the astral!
